    A great journey

Loved the world Le Guin created and the vivid characters. You felt their pain and experienced their joy and wonder at the world around them. The concepts Le Guin artfully unpacks are as relevant today as they were when she wrote this. Highly recommend

    Interesting, thoughtful book

I really enjoyed this book. I’ve been trying recently to work my way through the “SF Masterworks” series, and this didn’t disappoint. It is quite different than many others in the genre, and considering when it was written it must have been groundbreaking in its day (still is), and has many ideas that have been picked up and developed by later authors. Well worth a read, and I’ll be reading more of this author’s catalogue.
