    Well worth persevering with

This is one of those stories that you have to read to the end to fully appreciate. The main character, Sarah, is very complex but well written and with a heart wrenching past that she still hugely struggles to live with. Her week spent with Eddie sounded idyllic and I can fully comprehend her heartbreak and confusion when she failed to hear from him after however her behaviour afterwards could easily be construed as borderline stalker-ish. The situation makes much more sense as the book progresses, yes the story is far fetched but there are real life examples of ill crossed lovers. Once I’d got a full understanding of the situation I hugely enjoyed this, if you’re not sure at first this is definitely worth preserving with as overall it’s a fantastic story

    Amazing!

This book is fantastic, it takes you on a complete emotional journey, from the dizzying happiness of being in love, the heartbreak of tragically losing someone you love, the painful sadness of a relationship breakup to the absolute joy of parenthood. Sarah and Eddie first meet by chance on a village green, they then spend the next blissful week without ever leaving each other. Both of them absolutely know that they want to spend the rest of their lives together, the only problem is that Sarah lives in America and Eddie in England. Sarah is staying with her parents in England but knows that she will have to soon leave, Eddie has already committed to going on holiday so they agree to meet up after then. Sarah worries when she hears nothing else from Eddie and begins to doubt what he felt for her, until she realises that it has something to do with the fatal accident many years before. An absolute must read!

    The Man Who Didn't Call

I loved this book! I felt like I was emotional invested in the main character and her search. I wanted to know what happened. I enjoyed the two different perspectives for the chapters
