    Great Stuff!

This is a really interesting take on the “missing child” story and for me was quite a slow burner, I was close to 100 pages in before I realised that I was hooked. The characters are well rounded, all interesting and all unreliable which made for a gripping yet realistic read. This book is well-written, well-thought out and with just enough mis-direction to keep my interest without being mis-leading. I think I suspected every character at some point in the book but still didn’t quite expect the ending! Good stuff!

    The missing

Gripping and very heavy read. But could not put it down. Had you thinking at the turn of every page!

Wish i could give 6 stars

Having heard so many positive report's about this book, on Facebook I thought it was too hyped up. It definitely wasn't. This had me engrossed from page one till the end. Wanted to phone in sick so I didn't have to stop. I didn't call in sick. Can not praise this book enough. Will certainly be reading her previous books. This book should be made compulsory reading.

    The Missing

Very well written. Had me guessing right up until the big twist at the end. Gave it four stars as I found it hard going at times. Have read The Accident by the same author and preferred it.

    The missing

Claire, the central character, is very well drawn. Her inner conflicts and how she deals with them emerge at just the right pace for the reader to be able to deal with them. The use of social media rather perplexed me as I, an old codger, took a long time to understand what was going on! The real answer to the conundrum only emerged slowly, but the jigsaw pieces gently self_assembled in front of one's eyes. It was beautifully written.
