    Very good cozy mystery

I have enjoyed getting back into Brimstone with Cassia, Stanley and Luca. A very enjoyable book. A lovely cozy mystery for all ages. A dead and missing Unicorn. A wedding of love birds. A city not what it appears. Recommended reading I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Fantastical Creatures in a Great Cozy

I love this type of book - a witch cozy with a talking cat. Cassia is a justice witch and Stanley the cat is her familiar. Lots of wonderful creatures in these books, including the unicorns who work as flying taxis. Yes, these unicorns have wings so they are like Pegasus. Another creature is the snoutwoozle. Stanley's a great character with a cute smile. He even went down a slide at a gnome playground! He and his brother Oliver were named after Laurel and Hardy. I believe this was mentioned in book one. The last chapter said that Cassia and Stanley had to watch two hours of Laurel and Hardy before Stanley felt a little happier. I'd highly recommend this series. I always enjoy them; with twelve books there are lots of them for people to enjoy.

    Adored it.

The Missing Unicorn was such a delightful read. The story is light and whimsical with a touch of seriousness thrown in. I really enjoyed Mrs. Fernsby’s mystery and look forward to reading the next. (4.5⭐️)

    Another curious mystery!

Although not as funny as some of the previous books, following Cassia and Stanley through this mystery was intriguing as usual. Kept you wondering who did what and why!! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    April Fernsby’s The Missing Unicorn

Cassia Winters is the Justice Witch for Brimstone. Stanley is her magical, familiar cat who plays an important part in the story. Cassia is sent to investigate the death of a unicorn BUT when she and Stanley arrive the unicorn’s body is missing!!! Is he dead, wounded or has something evil taken him? The investigation goes into full swing. Zany, weird, quirky characters combine with the Brimstone characters. Good and evil magic fills the story. The plot was intriguing with magical twists and turns. There was a touch of romance. An entertaining read!! I volunteered to read The Missing Unicorn. Thanks to Booksprout for the opportunity. My opinion is my own.
