    The perils of morning coffee

Good interesting easy reading, another great read from Alexander McCall Smith.

    Quick read

This is a very quick light read and isn't the best book I've read in this series . I know the plots in the Isobel Dalhousie series are gentle, but I felt as if this book hardly got going at all before it ended and I am now trying hard to remember what he plot was! Having said that, I enjoyed it - but I love McCall Smith's style and would enjoy just about anything of his. Ideal reading if you are on holiday or sitting in the garden on a sunny afternoon.

    A light read

It is a refreshingly light read compared to "Trains and Lovers". Simple and elegant.
