    Combustible connection, Exciting drama

Finn is almost forty and following a successful football career is now a broadcaster. The sad part of his tale is that he acts like a teenager with his manwhore ways and partying. Then a new neighbor moves in on his floor that makes his heart stop. Delilah is a successful woman having started her own fashion design company. She doesn’t trust easily and her first impression of Finn is less than stellar. Finn has to pull out all the stops to even get Delilah to talk to him which is so much fun to experience. As Finn learns to grow up to get what he wants, Delilah has to learn to trust and realize not all men are her father. Finn and Delilah have that spark and when they finally acknowledge it, well, it’s combustible with all of their intense, sexy activities. Of course, the road to love is never easy which adds to the drama and kept me on my toes wondering if Finn would win his woman.

    Loved

4 star Review of  The Player Gets Coached (Bachelors #2) by Janet Nissenson  Wow Finn McManus really is a man who gets around, an ex NFL player who is now a broadcaster, he has no shortage of women who want to be with him. As long as they realise that it is temporary everything is fine. Delilah Ferris is a woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after t. As longs as she is in control their will not be an issue. Totally focused on building her her clothing line she doesn’t have time for a relationship, least of all with her new neighbour Finn. Shockingly for Finn, Delilah grabs and hold his attention and he will stop at nothing to get her to go out with him. Will Delilah be the one that finally changes Finn’s mind on temporary? Delilah knows that going out with Finn will be a huge mistake and one that could destroy her but can she fight the chemistry that sizzles between them? I love the writing style of Janet Nissenson and not only are her main characters intriguing but I love the depth that she gives to the secondary ones as well. As this is the second book in the series, you get a bit of a catch up on the previous characters which I enjoyed immensely. This was a romantic, funny and sweet story that I enjoyed.
