    Dull and Predictable

I enjoed Kathy Shuker's other books, this one was my least favorite. It didn't have anything to intrigue me, very drawn out and no surprises at all.

    Well written good plot

This is a book that keeps you guessing. It is hard to anticipate the twists and turns, but the intricacies of the plot do not mean the quality of the writing is neglected. Kathy's use of words is excellent, painting pictures as she writes. I thoroughly recommend this book. I really enjoyed it. Kathy obviously knows the area that the book is set in, and I still have lovely images in my head from tbe book a month or so after reading it.

    Modern mystery

I loved this, well written mystery with enough twists and turns to keep me guessing till the end. I couldn’t put it down

    A who-dunnit/romance with believable characters.

Kathy Shuker's books get better and better. This, her fourth, is a light but satisfying read. I found it a page-turner. The Devon coastal setting was described well and played an important role in the story. Will definitely read any more that she produces.
