    All the Feels!!

5 Stars Review by Lisa Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog First, let me tell you that the minute I started this book I instantly felt all the feels. That included the not so pleasant ones as well!! I was pulled right into Hailee's emotions until the end. The Trouble With You by L.A. Cotton is the first in the Rixon Raiders series and what a start to a series!!!! Holy smokes the ups and downs and all the corners that we get to visit--what a ride!!! I LOVE IT!!!! There is enemies-to-lovers, family drama, football, school rivalry and soo much more. There is so much to this well written story that I could not put it down and now I am ready for the next book in the series because, yes, it left me wanting more now, please!! Hailee has one more year of high school to go. One more year of getting past the school spirit and the cruel step-brother who loves to torment and prank her. Cameron has the world at his feet. From talent on the football field to the ladies and college reps lining up to sign him up. That is until things happen and threaten everything in that is in place to move forward. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and can't wait for the next one!!!

    Angst Filled With Strong Characters!!🌟

L.A Cotton Is Fast Becoming One Of The Queens Of Teen Angst!!👑😢💔🙏💘 Step Siblings Hailee & Jason are complete opposites. She's quiet, into Art & happy to be anonymous. Jason is a jock, loud, entitled and at the centre of the entire town's attention - not just their Schools!!😳 They can't stand one another. He's played spiteful pranks, meant to shame & emotionally hurt her, since their Parents started dating, when they were just 12!!👎 Hailee is made of tough stuff though & refuses to take any of it lying down, so she gives as good as she gets!🙌 Starting Senior year seems monumental & her BFF, Flick, wants to make some changes to the way they've gone through High School so far. She has a senior year bucket list 😲 It includes attending a Pep Rally, A Game, A Party etc all perfectly normal things, but not when you've blacklisted by Jason the QB1 & his Raiders Team Mates including his 2 BFF's Cameron & Ash!!🙈 What no one really realises is how messed up Cameron has become. He has some big issues at home & no one knows the full extent of them!😢 but he can see Jase is going over the edge in his prank war & hatred for Hailee & keeps trying to step in, subtlety, to mitigate the looming disaster. What he doesn't expect is to see the lust he secretly feels for her, mirrored back at him in her eyes!!🔥👀💘 They're all going to Hell & the Rixon Raiders QB1, Jase, seems hell bent on dragging them all there with him, one prank or excessive team rivalry stunt or another!!😱💔😡 Can Cam grow a backbone in time? Can Cam & Hailee overcome the years of bullying to see what's right in front of them? Will Jase back off of the Team rivalry with East, to protect the Step Sister he despises? Can Flick & Ash pull them all together to some kind of harmony? Or are they all destined to burn in the flames of Jase's rage??💥😭🙏 This is a push & pull romance that'll have you wanting to throw your Kindle at the wall. Priorities People PLEASE!!🙏😍 It's drama & angst filled from the get go & ends on a steamy scene we know is coming but .... don't really want to happen!🔥💔😢 I'm kind of dreading, but with a sick sense of anticipation, book #2 - I'm ashamed to say!🙈😂 These characters are 100% addictive.💥 I have a soft squishy place in my heart for Ash 😍💙 I loved this High School with it's High Drama 🙌💖 Debbie, 1970, UK

    Love Cameron and Hailee

This is a signature L.A. Cotton book with an emphasis on football. There's tons of angsty drama with characters that you love to hate but will never forget (even after you put the book down). Hailee had my heart from the beginning of this story. She was a broken and hardened senior who has had to live with her stepbrother Jason's cruelty for years. It's like a constant prank war that never ends. Cameron was not my favorite hero from the start, but I let that go because I knew he would redeem himself. He most definitely did, especially with his revelation during the conversation with Jason. I really enjoyed this story and ended up reading it all in one day. If there was one thing that I would love to know more about though, it would have to be what Cameron said to Miley. I know, insignificant, but I would loved to have been a fly for that very brief conversation. I'm really looking forward to the next book. Especially after that little glimpse we got at the end! Great start to a new series!!! *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*

BE PREPARED TO NOT BE ABLE TO PUT IT DOWN!!!

This book!! GAH!! I WANT TO SCREAM IT OUT TO EVERYONE “READ THIS AWESOME BOOK!!” I was really excited about this book!! I love L.A.’s writing!! I knew it would be awesome!! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!! Then...I...did!!! 😮 I could NOT stop reading!!! This book is sooo good!!! Cameron is such a honey (after he’s done being mean)!!! Jase is such a poop (cruel and hurtful)!!! Asher just goes with the flow, so he can be a honey or he can be a poop (meany). Depends where things are flowing at the time. I don’t want to strangle him, but sometimes I want to slap him. Speaking of slapping, sometimes I wanted to slap Hailee upside the head. I mean there’s a reason she hates football, but Cam is out there....why aren’t you watching him?? But anyway, I’m not going to tell you all about the story. You have the summary and you should enjoy reading the book without knowing everything that’s about to happen. That’s why I avoid reviews sometimes. But I need to say BE PREPARED TO BE SUCKED INTO THIS BOOK AND NOT BE ABLE TO PUT IT DOWN!!! YOU’RE GONNA LOVE IT!!!!

    Enjoyable

I don’t normally read YA/NA or bully stories but as LA Cotton is a new author to me I found myself volunteering to listen to this audio book. Having listened to other books by Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross I went into this with an open mind. Hailee Raine dislikes Cameron Chase with an intensity that most would find overwhelming. All she has to do is survive one more year before she can escape her home town, her step brother Jason and his football playing mates. Cameron plays for the Rixon Raiders and has colleges lining up to sign him. His best friend Jason is not a nice person, particularly to his step sister Hailee and of course being a best friend Cam is often just as much of a jerk to Hailee too. I really loved Hailee, she seemed to be the only person who didn’t bow down to the football players in the town. Not only that, but she was brave, fierce and not afraid to stand her ground. She also showed her vulnerability and confusion as she struggled to understand why Jason hated her so much. An emotional roller coaster of a listen that at times made me angry. I have to say I was so happy that Cameron came through for Hailee in the end. The narration was great and absolutely enhanced my listening pleasure.
