  • More Bosch...

A different tale of two tales with the common denominator being Harry. Had me turning pages into the not so wee small hours, as usual with Connelly, I didn't want to stop and completely lost track of time. He has the knack of giving each chapter ending just enough to make the next impossible to let go.

  • Bosch at his Best

Many books later in this series and still Michael Connelly is on the top of his game. This is vintage Bosch, a great read!!!

  • Outstanding - possibly best of Bosch

Most readers of this will be familiar with Harry Bosch, and the excellence of Michael Connelly as a writer. Before reading this I wondered if Connelly could maintain the high standard; and was slightly concerned when I read, in the blurb, that he had become a PI. Concerns unwarranted. This is (one of) the best Bosch books. As always the plot is original and engaging, with no preposterous elements. The characters are enhanced by the inclusion of Michael Haller in this plot, and avoidance of rigid good or bad people. Buy it; read it.

  • Wonderful

Combining 2 narratives in such a coherent fashion is the sign of a master story teller. Can't wait for the next one!

  • Interesting story line..an easy read.

I like the Harry Bosch series.. I am glad he keeps returning. This particular novel has interesting subject matter, ties in well with a taste of Bosch's past life and a bit of interaction with his daughter. A good easy read, not as gripping as some but still a page turner.
