Well thought out characters that you come to care about. Did not want to put this book down til the end. Looking forward to Ms. Wand's next book.

    A really good read.

I couldn't put the book down! What made it even more enjoyable for me, was the setting of the Lake District. Although I have lived in Canada for most of my life, I was born in Manchester and visited the very beautiful places where this story takes place.

    Very intriguing

Loved the writing style. Very English. Everything is from Lizzie's point of view and sometimes I wanted to yell at her but one has to keep going with the story to see how it will turn out for her. It was fascinating.
