    I love Kyle and Ross

I couldn’t wait to read this book. After only recently being introduced to R. J. Scott’s books, starting with Bodyguard to a Sex God (book one in the Bodyguards Inc. series), this is the story I wanted to read so bad it almost hurt. :-) This story works fine as a standalone, like all of the Bodyguards Inc. books, but I think you will enjoy it a little more if you read at least one of the other books first so you can learn more about the relationship between Kyle and Ross. Kyle is the owner of Bodyguards Inc. In the earlier books we learn that he and his PA, Ross, have kind of a snarky relationship. Kyle treats Ross as an employee even when he wants so much more. Ross constantly teases Kyle about being an old man. What Ross doesn’t know is that Kyle has wanted him almost from the first day that they met. Undercover Lovers goes into the backstory for Kyle and Ross and how Ross came to be Kyle’s PA and I was so happy to learn more of their story. There is also a case and suspense in this book although it’s not a traditional bodyguard assignment. Kyle and Ross go undercover as a married couple. Ross seems to be a bit more into the role than Kyle, saying they need to practice PDA’s (public displays of affection) so their relationship seems real. This book more than fulfilled my expectations for Kyle and Ross’s story. The setting was perfect – a picturesque inn – and having them pose as a married couple? Perfect. R.J. Scott crafted a wonderful story with romance, suspense and a near tragedy. It was well worth the wait!
