    Truly a fantastic psychological thriller

Dr. Alexandra Inglis dangerously crosses the line with one of her patients, 17-year-old Jonathan Day. She confesses this to her husband, then making every certainty that she didn’t know he was a patient at the time and that it will never happen again. She is immediately forgiven. But Jonathan has other ideas. This presents a danger that she never could have imagined. What ensues in this book is the true definition of a psychological thriller! Alex will do anything to keep her family together – anything. This book is definitely designed to be read from cover to cover without taking a break! Who is really telling the truth and what really creates the danger that lurks in White Lies? The ending truly blew my mind! Definitely a must read.

    Loved this thriller!

I'm not even sure where to start with this one as it literally blew my mind! I love that it references the Weinstein scandal and turns the tables on the subject of sexual harassment by questioning whether it is the adult woman doctor or the young 17-year-old male student telling lies and obsessing over the other. Is it truly a drunken one-night-stand at a "girls' weekend getaway" gone wrong, or is the good doctor looking to further her fantasies about a handsome young man? And is he obsessed with this attractive older woman or simply looking to further his social media platform and gain fame? Are these all little white lies or bigger, blacker lies intended to keep secrets buried deeper? Told from alternating perspectives of the doctor, the young man, his girlfriend, the husband, and the doctor's associate, this novel literally left me breathless wondering where the truth really lies as it is not until the very end that it is revealed. This book tore out my heartstrings and stomped on them! It's one I will be thinking about for a long time. A must-read!

    White Lies

This is my first book I have read by Lucy Dawson and it won't be my last! WOW. I never saw that ending! I love when you think you have it all figured out....and you don't! I would hate to spoil this book for anyone so I will leave out any spoilers. I really liked how the book is written from the different characters viewpoint. Often I have found this confusing with other books, but not in White Lies. The author does a great job of establishing who the characters are before doing this. You feel like you are allowed into their thought process when reading their chapter. Loved it!
