    You should have known

Interesting initial exploration of a therapists role but really a neat contrivance to set an ironuc backdrop against whuch the protagonists over_wrought drama lays out. Never rang very true to me in terms of characterisation of the "villain", better on the portrayal of New Yorkers and their adjustments to the harsh realities of modern financial dislcation of the old-order.

    Different?

Truthfully slow to start and some of the descriptive parts tedious .....maybe more suited to American readers!!! However once the story moved it was a good book, even if the Jewish references went over my head
