    Great book

Always Look Twice, Uncommon Justice by Elizabeth Goddard Always Look Twice is book 2 in the Uncommon Justice series. Never Let Go book 1, was a page turner but I promise Always Look Twice is much deeper. It starts out with intense action and just keeps going. It is full of riveting action that will have you at the edge of your seat. Harper finds herself photographing the wildlife in Bridger – Teton National Forest. The battle begins as she catch’s a murder in the lens of her camera. Heath helps her fight the bad guy. Always Look Twice is a powerful intriguing tale of faith, justice and fast paced action sure to keep you turning the pages. Elizabeth Goddard’s characters are believable and have you rooting for them. I have enjoyed every book of hers I have read. This book is a clean read, romantic suspense. I give this one 5 stars. Always Look Twice can be read as a stand along but is a great compliant to Never Let Go. I’m not sure if there is a book 3 but I can’t wait to get my hands on it if there is.

    Always Look Twice

Always Look Twice is book two from Elizabeth Goddard’s Uncommon Justice series. I enjoyed the first book, Never Let Go, and this one does not disappoint. Even though they are part of a series, they can be read as a stand-alone. But I do recommend reading them both. I loved Heath and Harper teaming up in this one. They are involved in quite the adventure. I could not have predicted what was going to happen next. I am giving Always Look Twice four and a half stars. I look forward to the third installment from the series, Don’t Keep Silent. I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.

    A Rollercoaster Ride!

I knew from the get go that I would love this book after the first chapter! The characters are very realistic and everything I read felt like a movie scrolling along in my head! I was right there with them as the danger was happening around them, hoping they would get out alive! So, you can see, I was totally immersed in this book! All that happens is very believable so you aren't saying, "oh that wouldn't happen in real life!" which makes the book that much more enticing! I could feel Harper's fear and anxiety because she had a huge trauma as a child and as an adult she has come back to the place where it happened and through sheer coincidence, another trauma happens! Thankfully, also by coincidence, her childhood best friend, Heath, rescues her just in time and becomes embroiled in that trauma. Between the two of them, they now are living with a murder investigation, bombs going off, a killer following them and a sheriff who can't find a body! So many things happening that don't seem connected, yet.....are they? Come along for the ride and read this fantastic book!

    Page turner!

Right from the very first chapter I was enthralled and found doing my mundane chores such a bore and too time consuming. The action was heart pounding and the culprit a total mystery. I drew close to the characters with their individual issues and kept rooting for them. Harper is photographing nature when she inadvertently sees a murder through her camera lens. Heath is a reserve deputy and came across Harper running from the scene. She thinks the man with the rifle saw her through his telescopic lens and when attempts on her life begin to happen, she is sure. It was interesting to learn more about crime scene photography and what all is involved. Not just the taking of the pictures but what must be done afterwards. And Harper certainly is meticulous in what she does. Harper and Heath are childhood friends and Harper helped Heath during a stressful time in his life. They have reconnected after twenty years apart. Will Heath be able to help Harper out this time? Or will the murderer win out? I must admit that at forty percent through I thought I knew “who dunit” but the clues didn’t pan out for me. I love being proven wrong in these instances because it makes it more thrilling to keep reading. If you enjoy crime/murder/suspense stories you will love this one. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author through the publisher but was not required to write a review positive or otherwise. All opinions are strictly my own.

    Thrilling, Page Turner, Romantic Suspense!

I’m an Elizabeth Goddard fan! Since reading her books from the Love Inspired Romantic Suspense Series and now with this new heart stopping series. I always think she can’t get any better than her last book and she always surprises me! This is the second installment in the Uncommon Justice Series and I can say it’s definitely one of her best stories. It can be read as a standalone, but you’ll get a fuller story if you read “Never Let Go” first. The characters are related and it is always great to read about a character that you get to meet in the previous book. This time it’s, Heath McKade, Austin’s brother story. And Harper’s. They both were childhood friends that bonded in a special way under similar tragic circunstances. Now, many years later, Heath would never expect to reconnect with Harper under extremely dangerous circumstances that may only make the past bond stronger. Heath, now owner of Emerald M Guest Ranch, where guests can hike, alternates his job with volunteering for the sheriff as a deputy when needed. Harper, counseled by her therapist, is taking a much needed break from her job as a crime scene photographer along with her novelist sister Emily. They end up outside their hometown, in Bridger-Teton National Forest, an ideal place for taking pictures of nature. That is, until the camera shoots an unintended criminal scene. As Harper is discovered and shot at, she tries to escape, only to fall, get injured and loose her camera. That is how Heath discovers her, because Harper’s incident takes place near Heath’s and his group camping. When he hears the shot and scream he runs to her aid, totally unexpecting the trouble and deadly danger that will come after this encounter. Harper has no proof of what she witnessed because of the camera she lost, but she’s determined to seek justice this time, and do all that she can to bring this murderer to where he can no longer be a threat to people. But that means allowing to be the target, along with her sister, and now Heath, who is determined to protect them until the end. This is a thrilling story! I have to say that it kept me up until the wee hours of the night until I finished. I was totally enraptured with the plot, and the unexpected twists, but also with the deepness of the characters. Heath and Harper, both had tragic and hurtful pasts, and they both had to deal with forgiveness issues and especially with trusting God. God doesn’t want bad things to happen to us. He may allow it, but only because He can bring greater good from it. I loved how they grew both in faith together. Elizabeth’s books always have a faith elements, but not in a preachy way. I always find it natural and inspiring! I felt totally related to the characters and their struggles. The suspense really kept me on my toes until the end. I couldn’t help the anguish of finding out who the culprit was, who to trust or don’t. It had some totally unexpected twists and the ending was amazing. I loved it! I can’t wait third book this series! I’m hoping it will be Liam’s -the mysterious brother- story. The romance was very sweet and totally clean. They really had it difficult to show their feelings while being hunted, but there are some very sweet scenes. And the way they see each other, I loved that. I thought it was spooky and well done, yet unexpected, when the villain had a voice in the book. Made it more mysterious. Summing everything up, its a page turner story, that I definitely recommend! You won’t regret it!
