    Entertaining Murder Mystery Novella

This is a very short novella; less than 100 pages including the recipes. This is a good story with a good plot. It has as much fun interaction between the main characters as it does investigating the crime. The ending is not a great surprise, but it is all tied up fairly nicely. I received this ARC book for free from Net Galley and this is my honest review.

    Quick-moving, terrific setting

A Very Mummy Holiday is a Thanksgiving novella of the Tourist Trap Mystery series. Jill and Greg have gone to the central Oregon coast with their friends for the holiday and to ride the sand dunes. When their friend Kathi finds a mummy in the dunes, they find out the son of the resort owners is the primary suspect in his girlfriend’s disappearance. There are also a group of creepy tough guys that hang out and cause trouble. Jill and Greg look into the murder and help to bring it to a close. Because it was a novella, the reader doesn’t find out what motivated the murderer, but it’s a quick-moving story in a terrific setting.

    Review vs Synopsis

My review is actually about almost all of the reviews here. Only a couple were actually reviews. The vast majority were just a synopsis of the story. Guess what; that is in the description of the book already. Based on reading all of these reviews I have no idea that I might want to read it. BTW, a star rating was required to submit. Sorry if it brings the average down.

    Thanksgiving and Mummies, Oh My!

I loved this little mystery. It had an interesting premise, and the ending was satisfying. Although, I wish there was a better reason why the culprit committed murder. I received an Advanced Reader's Copy from Netgalley for an honest review.
