    Anyone is capable of murder

It’s January and Sarah Winston has an estate sale that she picked up during her slowest season. But it’s not just any estate sale, it’s the home of a former couple who worked for the CIA and things get down right interesting from the get go. While Sarah is working through the contents at the home, the son of the deceased shows up and is knocked out while in the office going through papers. Turns out it’s not the son and he escapes from the hospital. In addition, a young wife is murdered on the base and Sarah is asked to keep her eyes and ears open to help with the case. When one of the officers wives is suspected of the murder, the woman asks Sarah to help clear her name. With so much craziness going on and conflicting stories, how does Sarah separate fact from fiction? Can she or will she be the next victim? This series is always a fun break from reality. Well written and a solid whodunit with a list of suspects and red herrings to keep you guessing until the end.

I liked the book & enjoy the series.

I received a free copy of SELL LOW, SWEET HARRIET (Book 8 of the Sarah Winston Garage Sale Mysteries) by Sherry Harris in exchange for an honest review. Sarah Winston was delighted to organize an estate sale for a new client because business is slow due to cold, winter weather. When Sarah’s new client revealed the estate belonged to her parents who worked for the CIA and who died under mysterious circumstances, Sarah was intrigued. However, when several suspicious incidents occur relating to the estate sale, Sarah becomes worried that the estate sale may be a dangerous endeavor. Can she figure out what’s going on before it’s too late? At the same time, officers ask Sarah to aid them with investigating a murder at the nearby Air Force base, and a mobster has moved back into the apartment next door. It’s exciting times for Sarah! I enjoyed this book and like the series. Sarah’s character keeps evolving and trying to improve herself. Also, the law enforcement officers are usually depicted as being generally competent. I recommend this book to fans of the series and to fans of cozy mysteries featuring murder, burglary, military bases, military spouse culture, and estate sales. #SellLowSweetHarriet #NetGalley

    Always great!

Sell Low, Sweet Harriet, the 8th book in A Sarah W. Garage Sale Mystery series hits all the right notes as a great mystery and an outstanding novel. Author Sherry Harris imbues the characters with depth and dimension that few people expect of a cozy mystery. Sarah's life and her relationships with other characters have been dynamic from the beginning. We have had the great experience of watching her grow into a stronger self-assured woman since her divorce. After years of devoting herself full time to her role as a military spouse the transition into a dating woman developing her own business has not been easy. Some of the choices she has made have surprised her as much as they have surprised the reader but we cheer her on through every step. Those unexpected decisions help keep the series fresh and keep the reader devoted to the series. Even though I pre-ordered a copy of Sell Low, Sweet Harriet, I requested an ARC from NetGalley just because I couldn't wait. I always review books I love and I love all the books in this series. I was thrill to be approved. #NetGalley #SellLowSweetHarriet
