    Difficult read, realistic

Describes Irish attitudes towards young women to a tee. Inevitably the woman is at fault. I felt sorry for the main character while reading the book and it just reinforces how archaic a society we really are.

    Asking for it

It still is very much a man's world sadly. Great read, informative and heartbreaking. It highlighted the double standards and sexist attitudes that still prevail in out righteous country. Thanks

    Asking For It

A disturbingly realistic account of some serious issues affecting young people in Ireland. An emotional and insightful must-read for young people, parents and professionals.

    most disturbing

This book was a compelling but very graphically disturbing read. A parents worst nightmare for both sons and daughters highlighting how it is essential they/we know how to drink sensibly. One bad decision and u are on a screen 4 life.
