    Vaterland

Good, well written and well researched WW2 alternative history fantasy thriller. Begins a bit slowly as the plot is laid out, but picks up as it moves along, with engaging characters and good plot twists.

    Fatherland

What an exciting and well told story. I read it when it was first published and thought it was excellent, my opinion hasn't changed.

    An interesting concept!

Well told and plausible account of a victorious Germany. Harris certainly tells a good story and backed up by historical data makes it all the more compelling. It is difficult at times to comprehend the actions of the main characters as their lifestyle causes behaviors so foreign to our lives.
