    Finally a "Ruth/Ruthie" character!!

This book is about Sterling and Ruthie, and what it is like to be in love with a military man. Sterling gets the last minute phone call just as he is supposed to be getting ready for a first date. He forgets to call her and she reacts like any woman would. He and Ruthie each have their demons, but they do overcome them…together. I just LOVE Lani Lynn Vale’s paces in these books. She has quickly become one of my top 4 favorite authors. I started at the beginning of the Dixie Wardens MC series and haven’t stopped until I ran out of reading material. She is a WONDERFUL AUTHOR!!!! I can’t wait for more from her!!!!

    Sterling and Ruthie

Ruthie was a strong female character. and ever since Sterling was introduced at the very beginning of the Dixie Wardens series he is someone that is trying to make his life better. but it is when these two finally come together that they both truly start to live. and then when tragedy hits home, its Ruthie's love that keeps Sterling grounded. they both have their own stories from their pasts, that have made them the strong people that they are, but its them being together that makes them even stronger. i enjoyed Sterling and Ruthie's story, but i am just sad that its the end of this series. but i know that in true Lani Lynn Vale fashion i will be seeing these men and woman again in future books.
