Perfect for lovers of MC-lite romance

Well, my foray into the MC genre has made something clear: the grittier and darker stories make me uncomfortable and I'm more suited to MC-lite romances. Unfortunately, the only way I can determine which ones are of the lite variety is to read them. But I digress. Don't you just hate when people around you (hint: your mom) keep going on and on about your single status, how you're not getting any younger and need to settle down and start a family? I know I hated it when I was single and it's still a hot button for me to this day. Like dating isn't already hard enough, especially for women. Poor Jessica Miller had to contend with that and in order to keep the peace with her mom, she decides to take her up on the offer to set her up on a blind date with nice young man. Bad idea! Said nice young man turns out to be not so nice when he sticks her with the bill after ordering up the priciest items on the menu. As if that wasn't bad enough, turns out he's also an octopus with wandering hands and won't take no for an answer. What a prize. Not. What do you know? The biker that everyone would warn her away from is the one who comes to her rescue and actually behaves like a gentleman, but also gives her the hottest sex of her life. But Zag is from a different world and she can't see them going beyond the one night. Well, Zag doesn't agree with her and shows her why one night is not enough. With the mind-blowing orgasms comes the dark, illicit dealings of Zag's world and when Jessica is endangered by one of his biker brothers, Zag is determined to keep her safe even against her will. Will they be able to walk away from each other after the danger is gone? This book was sweeter than I expected and I love that both Zag and Jessica didn't focus on their differences, but dug deep to find the best in each other. I had a blast reading this book because there were so many hilarious moments. RUTHLESS is a reminder that love comes in all forms and not to reject the best thing that could happen to you because it doesn't come in the expected packaging. I really enjoyed it and I'll definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys biker romances but without the darkness and grit. Excellent

This is the first book I've read by Gillian Archer so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. I truly enjoyed her writing style, the way she developed the MCs and laid out their story was great. I will definitely be looking for more books from her specifically more in this series. While this may start as a very typical good girl meets bad boy biker story, the author made the story very interesting and unique. I loved Zag and Jessica together and what started out as a bit of fun turns into much more very quickly when a rival Club zeroes in on Jessica. Zag finds he'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe. I definitely enjoyed this one and would recommend it to everyone.

    Motorcycle Love Ride

Yeah!! I have another favorite author. Ruthless by Gillian Archer is a read full of feeling and love as an unlikely couple overcome past and present demons. Yag is a member of True Brothers motorcycle club. Jessica is the gal who needs a knight in shining armor. Yag is Jessica's hero when he saves her from a date attach. Both of these characters come to life through the prose of Archer. Yag is a man that comes from an abusive childhood that never expects Jessica to think he is good enough. Jessica is a woman who has not had the best of luck with men. Fantastic quick read with no cliffhangers. This could be a start of a series featuring the . Interesting and supportive friends of both Jessica and Yag. Look forward to spending more time with Archer's work. Net Galley copy sent to me for an honest review. .

    Great new MC series!

Loved this book! Ruthless is the first book in Gillian Archer's True Brother's MC series. The book starts off with Jessica going on a bling date after her mom has once again fixed her up in an attempt to marry her off. This blind date is another epic fail and Jessica doesn't think things can get much worst when her date suddenly decides he is not taking no for an answer. Enter Zag, the big sexy biker who hears Jessica's scream for help. Zag rushes in and saves Jessica and Jessica. There is instant chemistry between these two and what's starts as a one night fling soon turns into much more for these two. When Jessica is once again thrown into the middle of trouble when a rival biker group has put their sights on her, it is up to Zag and his family of bikers to save Jessica. I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

    Good!

It's a good book but the sex scenes are not very graphic or steamy... The story on the other end is very amazing! Loved it. Lots of actions.
