    5 Stars are not enough!

Wow, just Wow! Harper Sloan has always known how to give is the alpha men we crave but with Thorn Evans we have now been given what I believe is the Ultimate Alpha. He is emotionally scarred but finds out meeting the right woman, Ari Daniels, allows those scars to fade. He is protective, loving but when he says “Babe” you WILL know what’s expected. Ari is a woman hiding from the world, unable to get past the pain of her past until a pair of blue green eyes across a bar suck her in and make her feel things she has never felt before. The emotional roller coaster we ride with Thorn and Ari is like none before. The twists and turns that follow, the suspense and the unexpected truths make this, without a doubt, Harper’s best book yet. Thorn is NOT your typical alpha boyfriend, he is about to become so much more!

    Breathtaking story!

Seven years ago, Ari Daniels had her world had her world turned upside down. She lost everyone she loved. The only one remaining was her best friend. She never let anyone else in, especially another man. Thorn Evans spent all his life living for his work and not believing in relationships and love. He never let anyone in his life except for Wilder. What will happen when these two broken souls cross paths? Is it just attraction or something deeper? Can they fight the demons of their pasts and build a future together? Wow! Unconscious Hearts blew me away! Ari and Thorn's story took my breath away and took me in a rollercoaster ride of emotions from the first page. And I loved every second of it. Their story is the perfect mix of drama, angst, suspense, mystery, surprises, twists, sexiness, and laughter. I loved the dual POV and the little chapters from the unknown character. It kept me always trying to guess who it was. Ari Daniels had her heart broken in several ways in the same day: she was betrayed by her sister and her fiancé and she lost her parents in the same day. She always blamed herself for the death of her parents and the fear of losing someone else never let her get close to anyone else. She was just existing but not living. But meeting Thorn woke her up and opened her eyes. She's a fierce and sassy young woman that knows what she wants. Thorn Evans is a total alpha male. He's protective, possessive and bossy. He knows what he wants and he'll do anything to have it. He had a rough upbringing but meeting Harris and Wilder changed his life and made the man he is today. He never thought he would want to settle down and have a family until he met Ari, but she made his heart beat again. I loved how sweet, gentle and patient he was with Ari. I've read almost every book by Harper Sloan and she outdid herself with Unconscious Hearts. Ari and Thorn's breathtaking story is beautifully written and it's very easy to forget everything around you once you start reading. I can't wait to read Wilder and Piper's story!

    Harper’s best book to date!

Harper Sloan is one of my absolute favorite authors. I have never been disappointed in one of her books. I wasn’t able to start this book right when it released (previous commitments) but oh how I wish I could have dug in immediately. To date, this is hands down, Harper’s best work. Both Ari and Thorn are very flawed characters, but not in any way does that make them unlovable or unlikeable. It simply makes them very human. Ari and Thorn are absolutely perfect for one another. And Thorn is about as alpha as a man can be. His one word “Babe” with it’s multitude of meanings had me chuckling If you have never read anything by Harper Sloan, this is a perfect book to start with. Totally it’s own world with no crossover characters. If you have read Harper’s books before, this is perfect for your next read. I kid you not, this is her best book so far. I eagerly look forward to Piper and Wilder’s story. And I’m hoping one will be coming for London as well.

    Brilliant

5 star review Unconscious Hearts (Hearts of Vegas #1) by Harper Sloan Oh, where on earth do I start? What an absolute emotional roller coaster of a read. This was a romantic and at times tense read and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. As I have come to expect from a Harper Sloan book, it was well written and the story line solid. I was invested from the first to last page and truthfully did not want the story to end. Just the name Thorn Evans, made me shiver; an absolute hot, demanding, determined Alpha male who I adore. Ari Daniels is a woman, absolutely heartbroken, knocked down repeatedly, she has closed herself off to life. When Ari meets Thorn she is blown away by his sheer determination to bring her back to life. He wants Ari and is willing to fight for her. Can Thorn bring the light back into Ari’s life? Thorn too has a past that has left him damaged, can they both come together to forge a relationship or will their pasts destroy any chance of them coming together? Not only are Ari and Thorn strong flawed characters who were easy to relate to but the secondary characters of Wilder and Piper were wonderful. Unconscious Hearts is one of my favourite books so far this year.honestly I cheered long and hard for their story.
