    Too much high school drama

Finding it hard to rate this book. I liked the idea of the story like, but I don't think it lived up to my expectations. I was under the impression it was going to be a psychological thriller/gripping crime novel after reading other reviews, unfortunately I don't think it quite hit the mark. The story focuses on the themes of friendship, jealousy and all round high school dramas. I felt a lot of the story dragged on and took some time to get to the point. I can't say I loved or connected with any of the characters. To be honest the main character Natasha just annoyed me and Becca wasn't great either. The relationship between Becca and Aidien was pretty bland and also predictable. Towards the end the story did take a few unexpected turns, but again it felt like to took so long to get to the point. Overall as much as I love YA novels, i feel this one was a little too much high school drama and not enough complexity to the overall story line.
