    5 hot and loving stars

I loved it. I have a special place in my heart and library for MMF love stories and this book is great example as to why. The characters are all likable, all of them have difficult things in their lives they've had to deal with and the love they have for each other is that much bigger because of it. The men are protective of her but also of each other and are so cute together. I also love that all three characters are friends not just lovers. I definitely recommend this book. ***I decided to review an ARC of this book.***

    Emotional and Steamy Read

Light as Air by Mari Carr. This is Doug, TJ, and Rosalia’s story. This is the final book in the Compass Family series and the fourth book in the Compass Boys series. Doug, TJ, and Rosalia’s story is an entertaining, emotional, heartwarming, and steamy read. I love how the authors make the characters feel so real. This story hooked me from the beginning to the end. I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. FYI, contains mature content.  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book via Booksprout.

    Definitely worth a read!

Menage is one of those conventions that 99% of people only see in books or porn. Given basic human nature involving mating, a long term menage relationship is pretty unlikely, not to say that it doesn't occur, I'm sure it does. But since it's so rare, most people will never hear of one that goes past a one night stand. That said, I liked this book very much. It's fantasy, as most fiction romance novels are. We all want to think that a menage relationship exists and works and this one does. Light as Air follows the youngest Compton, Doug, as he follows his passion for film and photography, filming an online series starring a meteorologist storm chaser. The characters are well established through a series of books set on the fictional Compass Ranch in fictional Compass Pass Wyoming. There are cowboys, horses, and lots of alpha male love there. Doug has appeared in several of the Compass Ranch books before getting his own story here. But the book is a standalone so prereading the series is not necessary. All three main characters are have good backstories that mesh well to create just the right amount of tension and conflict. Supporting characters aren't needed much in this book since there are three main characters to support each other. They do exist in the form of Doug's cousins, and TJ's father. I enjoyed the book very much. It treats the concept of menage relationships well, making the relationship believable. The storyline flows well and the bedroom scenes are steaming. Definitely worth a read! Stormy Romance

Light romance with hints of Tornadoes! This is a part of the Compass Boys Series #4 but it read easily as a stand alone. Characters Doug, TJ, and Rosalia were love worthy and the story that was told by Carr moved along as a nice pace. Full of heart that at one point brought tears to my eyes. Be aware that this is an adult story with the bedroom in the forefront more than one scene. Loved the Cowboy Cover too. "A copy of this book was provided by Kobo Writing Life via Netgalley with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

    A Sexy MMF Romance

This is my first book by either Mari Carr or Jayne Rylon, but the blurb got my attention so I thought I would take a chance. I'm so glad that I did! Light as Air was a really sexy MMF romance! It's the last book in the Compass Boys series (as well as the Compass series overall), but can be enjoyed as a standalone. Characters from all the previous books do appear though. I loved how Doug, TJ, and Rosalia were each the missing piece for each other. There wasn't a time when anyone felt like the third wheel. They all truly loved and cared for each other. Yes, it's not a conventional relationship, but it worked so well between the three of them. Their chemistry was scorching hot and I liked that there wasn't any unnecessary drama between them. The push and pull and the obstacles they face were realistic and honest. I do wish the book had been longer so we could have developed the characters a bit more and seen further into the future, but it's possible Doug (and TJ) were already firmly established in the previous books. I think if I had read the original Compass Brothers series I would have appreciated the epilogue a lot more, but it was sweet and seemed to bring the series full circle. I look forward to going back and reading the previous books in the series. *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*
