    To Kiss A Toad

This is a collection of excerpts from a serial novel Never Kiss A Toad by Jude Knight and other stories related by Marian Gabrielle. Of course the first question may be why a Toad? David Abersham was given the moniker of Toad from an incident that occurred when he was a child and saved Prinny, the King. The nickname stuck as he got older and even his best friend Sally Grenfield calls him Toad. David and Sally have practically been promised to each other since childhood. Given snippets from their lives growing up, it only makes me eager to read their entire story! I love the interaction between Toad and Sally and their strong love for each other even in their younger years. Sprinkled with those tidbits are teasers on their parents and how they grew up. Also other friends and family. By the end, there are several stories to be read by both authors to bring together the families of The Duke of Wellbridge,David’s father and the Duke of Haverford, Sally’s father. They were the best of friends and were determined their children would grow up knowing each other. The excellent writing of these two authors brought together, only leave me eager to read the full stories of these two families and especially of Toad and Sally. I really enjoyed and I think you will too!!
