    Thanks for your feedback!

    Excellent book!

Isaac and Natalie's story is full of emotion, angst, passion and humor as they both come to terms with the circumstances of the loss of her husband and his best friend and accept the feelings they have for each other. Each of the books in series can be read as a standalone, but to get the full effect of the families and community of Bounty Bay, reading the series in order really adds another dimension to the stories. Tracey Alvarez is a talented writer whose characters are realistic and down to earth and they keep you coming back for more.

Gotta love a man big on family tradition!!!

This fabulous book 4 in the Bounty Bay series features Nat Fisher and Isaac Ngata. It's been years since the accident and life has been hard for Isaac. Being in love with your deceased best friend's wife and keeping a HUGE secret to spare her any more grief is difficult. Isaac is a wonderful man AND he's an ex-All Black!  All these years she's held a grudge against him for the accident but spending time with him coaching her daughters rugby team helps her see him in a more forgiving light and...a more sexy light!  It's time for them both to come to terms with what really happened that night. I highly recommend the series as it is full of love, family, sexy, good looking and hard-working men. There's also a lot of sparks between those sexy men and the women they can't get enough of.  I can't wait for my next visit to Stewart Island.

    Contemporary NZ Romance

Every book this author writes is solid gold. The characters are people I would love to call friends. The locations are gorgeous. The stories allow me to step into communities in New Zealand and make me want to be there. And, I can’t wait for the next book from this author once I put the one I am reading down. In this book two wonderful people, once friends, eventually find their way to something more than friendship but not easily. Natalie lost her husband, Jackson, five years before the story begins and she has been raising her teenage daughter, Olivia, on her own while running a business. She has friends in the community and believes she is content…except there is that niggling feeling that keeps her at a distance from Isaac. Who is Isaac? He was her husband’s mate and best friend on and off the rugby pitch. He was there for the major events in the lives of Jackson and his family. He was a good friend and like a brother to Natalie for years…until…an accident occurred that tore both of their lives apart. When Olivia decides she wants to play rugby but there is no coach for the girl’s team she asks Isaac to volunteer – and he does. Natalie is there to support the team and as she spends time at practices and games the relationship between her and Isaac begins to change. There is definitely chemistry and caring and sharing but also truths that need to see the light before a true HEA can be achieved for Natalie and Isaac. I loved this book and am looking forward to reading the next in the series. There are plenty of single men and women in Bounty By that still need to have their stories told and I am EAGER to read each and every one of them! Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.

I couldn't wait to find out the secret!

I really enjoyed this book!! Isaac and Natalie are drawn to one another but they both have reasons why they can never be together. Isaac is battling lust and guilt when it comes to Natalie. He's hiding a huge secret about her late husband, who was also his best friend, and this secret can never be told. Natalie harbored hate toward Isaac in the first years of her husband's death but now she feels strangely drawn to him. They once had a good relationship and he was even godfather to her daughter. After a strange twist of fate throws them together, they battle guilt and lust because of their own memories of Natalie's husband's death. When the finally give in to lust, they find out how much they really care for each other. Then the truth that Isaac has been concealing about Natalie's husband's death finally comes out. Can Natalie forgive Isaac for his part in the secret? And can Isaac forgive himself? I was given this book to read and review for free by the author. All opinions in this review are my own and in no way coerced by the author.

Another great visit to Far North

Can it even get better than this – a sexy, wounded, male who puts everyone in front of himself? Tracey Alvarez has done it again – I don’t know how she can have so many unique characters and situations in her head. The addition of a girls’ Under 16 rugby team gives a sweet backdrop to this story. We go back to the Far North and meet some old friends again. Once more, Ms. Alvarez proves her great talent for vivid dialogue that puts you in the same room with the characters, witty banter that makes you laugh out loud, and descriptive characters who you want to meet. Isaac and Natalie are meant to be together, once they can work through the angst of loving the same man – her late husband and his best friend. These strong characters deserve their HEA and it is a great joy watch them get there. As in past titles, Ms. Alvarez pays homage to the wonderful Maori people. Their depth of love for their family, history, and traditions is a tribute that is a beautiful life lesson. If you’re expecting a rugby book, perhaps move on. If you want a beautiful love story between people you’d love to call your friends, hurry and buy Mend Your Heart by Tracey Alvarez.
