    Great storytelling

Gaiman is a brilliant storyteller - vividly evoking images of times, things and beings we have never seen!

    Naughty Norse gods

These Norse myths and legends are retold by the epic storyteller Neil Gaiman - a worthy inheritor of the bardic tradition. He is able to take these ancient stories and shift them in to a current and relevant vernacular.

    An enjoyable read.

Gaiman's writing style makes these tales engaging and accessible for the reader. I found the book to ban enjoyable read.

    Fine but not his best

Hmmmm. I love Neil Gaiman, I'm not sure I love this. Deft storytelling as always but I prefer Gaiman's original source material to the Norse stuff - I guess he has 1,000 years plus of other influences....
