    Hypocritical slut shaming

What didn't work for me: the characterizations were shallow, hypocritical, unlikeable and stereotypical; and the slut shaming made me feel pretty angry. To maintain the 'good girl' role she can only be stripping because of (insert sob story). Not only that, but she makes it clear that she hates herself for the stripping - that she is being disrespected, taken advantage of, that she is being degraded.  Throughout the story various of the other dancers are described as having dollars in their eyes when they look at the hero. I guess if they enjoy their jobs or respect themselves than they are not 'good girls' and therefore must only be interested in anyone for the money. At one point she masturbates, engages in self shaming and then calls herself a "clit-whore-is". Seriously?!!! Its like she was only a stripper to demonstrate her physical desirability and that she was a princess in need of rescuing. But in the end she is happy to be all HEA with the hero who owns the strip joint, and therefore live off the proceeds of all those 'gross guys who degraded her' but i guess its ok to get rich off of the other girls so long as you dont have to dirty yourself personally anymore. It was so hypocritical.

Wish I had a MAN like THIS

This is a must read for any women who wants that 'little' extra in reading. This Author is amazing in telling a story! This is great fun, love it, and want more of it. Not for the CLEAN READERS!!!!

    Just OK

After reading the first book in this series, i was excited to read Beckett's story. Unfortunately we did not learn much about him, this was all Cassie, and that is what let this book down for me. I absolutely loved Beckett and CiCi (daughter) but half of this story was reading Cassie's thoughts... she was just too insecure and stubborn. I just could not get into this book... sadly, 3.5 stars.

    Sexy and romantic

Sweet sexy romantic. I'm in love with the couple. Casie is a strong independent woman but worries too much. Beck is a fun-loving man-child but has a heart of gold.
