    Disappointment

Although the book had some exciting moments, the main character was too annoying and one dimensional. A big disappointment after The Martian.

    Artemis, Andy Weir's new hit

Artemis is an amazing novel, plain and simple. It goes into science fiction while seeming completely, shocking possible. Overall a great read and an absolute page turner. Just wonderful!

    Love Andy Weir

Another Andy Weir hit with a quirky freakishly intelligent main character. His attempt at romance and feminism were a bit heavy handed and awkward, but I still loved it.

    Eh. It was ok.

Not my thing. It was so much useless information about the workings of everything. The story line was ok though.

    Great

I really enjoyed this though it is a departure in some ways from his first work, The Martian. Artemis relies more heavily on his imagination of scientific advancements, but there is still enough hard science, wit and humour to draw in previous crowds. I even enjoyed that he chose to write a female protagonist which I always imagine is difficult for the opposite sex. While I don't think the plot was as strong as The Martian, there was still enough to make this a thoroughly enjoyable read.
