    the bad beginning

This book has a ladder going to the climax of the story. This book has a lot of characters Including Count Olaf , Violet,Klaus ,and Sunny. My favorite character is Sunny the baby

    A VERY FANCIFUL DETAILING

This story rang a bell with me, and kept doing so until a much less appealing work of literature brought itself to my attention. Being observant will help you profit later in life, so if a reader- such as yourself- decided not to read this book, that would be a very good idea indeed. This is most assuredly not an appropriate book for young children and teens to just pick off the shelves and start to read. If they picked up a charming story about elves, it would probably be more on the right track for their preferences. As well as that, this volume contains ghastly devices and designs, including betrayal, a contrived message, terrible people, contrived plots, bad food, fires, and an unexpected congratulations as well as the wringing of many anxious hands. In the event of anybody finding any sort of code or cipher contained in this negative and unfortunate review (although that, of course, is wholly ridiculous), pleae wait for us to find you, and be sure to return our signal when the time comes. The world is quiet here. With all due respect, K. SNICKET

    The End

This is an interesting story full of misery, sorow and woe. If you are the mystery type this is the way to go. This book will keep you thirsty for more questions and answers, on this exiciting story. Booo Count Olaf... Go Baudelaires!!

    The bad beginning

Not bad. As usual, the first book in the series is never the best, but still very good. At this point in the series, you are introduced to the main characters of the story, and later a villian. If you are looking for a happy book, this book series is not reccomended. Look at the overview and you will know why. It is true.
