    Thanks for your feedback!

    An astonishing and beautiful book

Barbara Kingsolver has no need to further her reputation, being the author of such immensely moving books as The Lacuna and The Poisonwood Bible, but with this book she has rached an entirely new level. If there is a more compelling account of the dilemma that faces us in this new century I have yet to read it. And the manner in which she tells her story from the point of view of an ordinary person, rather than one in the priveleged world many of her readers inhabit, gives it an inredible veracity. The best book of the year.
