    LOVED it!!!

I was really looking forward to this book since the Universal Alien. The Mastermind has been revealed and I was anticipating what they would do but it was not to be in this book. However, the escapades and landscape of this book is truly amazing! The imagination of Gini Koch really amazes me and the fact she can write so well about something she is terrified of in real life is astonishing. I did do my usual when I get my hands on one of her books and read it in one day. Very well written and I do believe it is time for me to re-read it.

    Alien Separation

I wanted to give it 10 stars but there weren't enough on the list. Loved all the twists and turns and really didn't see most of them comimg. But the Shanatua were definitely my favorite! Or mabe the Lenacora? Oh well, the whole bookwas great and as usual, I can't wait for the next book!

    Chess on a multidimensional level...

was never such fun read. Megalomaniac girl is back! I’ve had this one sitting on the table next to my chair since it hit the bookstores back in May. You might wonder why the heck it was sitting so close to me and still hadn’t been read. Grrrr, it’s one of those things called commitments. I made them and I was darn sure going to try and meet them. Didn’t mean I wasn’t grinding my teeth every time I looked at it and chomping at the bit to sink my teeth into it. And now, the latest in the series, Alien in Chief has just released. I just couldn’t stand it anymore so pardon me while I swept aside all my ARCs and gave myself permissions to read one of my favorite series. Call it my early Christmas present to myself. Three hundred pages in I had to MAKE myself get some sleep, but I can tell you I really didn’t want to. This series has me sitting on the edge of my seat, biting my lips and laughing out loud on a regular basis. From the beginning with Touched by an Alien, Gini Koch has drawn me into Kitty Katt’s world and totally enraptured me. Each book in the series is packed full of surprises and a total outside the box realism that keeps me glued to my seat until the last page. Alien Separationis no exception. Where else do you get aliens, comic book heroism, super hot flyboys and clues from super-sentient beings delivered via iPod tunes? Oh, and did I mention the laugh a minute irreverence? Best yet there is that touch of romance, passion, and love I seem to find an absolute necessity in my reading. In Alien Separation, Kitty Katt-Martini has made it back from the parallel universe she was transported to in Universal Alien. She knows hands down just who the Mastermind is and it’s time to kick some proverbial butt… well, that is until she and a select few of her closest friends and family find themselves slung across the galaxy. Of course, there are plans within plans and it’s up to a very capable Kitty to discover just what’s going on and come to the rescue… not only of her family and friends but the whole Alpha Centauri solar system. Something made a whole lot easier with the assistance of her trusty purse and all the marvels it dishes out in the nick of time. None of this is to discount the help of her companions, their trusty pets or the new alliances she’s made. Oh, I suppose it doesn’t hurt to be a foretold savior and god. You know I keep checking my purse, but darn it there are no poofies there to come to the rescue and I know for sure that a machine gun won’t fit into it. But darn it would be nice. Then again I’m not trying to save the world or the universe for that matter. What I will find though is a reading device loaded with books that help me take a vacation from reality. I have to admit that Ms. Koch’s books provide some of the best vacations I’ve taken. Things are always dire in Kitty Katt’s world, but there are rewards aplenty. Having the best of friends, a darling daughter and the princely love of the hottest alien out there sure add up on the win side not to mention the devotion of all her alien pets. But I have to admit I hope the challenges keep coming because I’m not sure I want this ride to ever end. *****Reviewed for Xtreme-Delusions*****

    Alien Separation

The mastermind has been identified but before anything can be done about it, Kitty, Jeff, Jamie and several others are zapped from their universe to another and right smack into trouble in this exciting sci-fi fantasy. As usual nothing is ever easy for Kitty, her family or her friends and being zapped onto another planet in another universe is just routine and the reader can't help but get drawn into all the excitement as Kitty and company try to not only figure out what, when, why, where and how but find each other as well. As usual Kitty is her snarky, cool and charming self and the others are their usual captivating selves but this adventure introduces some new intriguing and colorful characters that grab the reader's attention right along with the originals. The fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of suspense and action and gives readers quite a few chuckles with Kitty's usual snark and situational humor. Non-stop action and excitement ensure that there is never a dull moment and the enemies very complex scheme keeps the characters as well as the readers guessing with lots of unexpected surprises and a very unique and colorful world for Kitty and company to navigate not only physically but politcally as well. The well written scenes and details bring this story to very vivid life and the well orchestrated events draw the readers in and ensures that they can't put the book down. I don't know about you but I love Kittyisms and her brand of kick ass now and take names later attitude, every story is always thrilling and fun and the only difference with this one is that the world is sort of like visiting Wonderland, Oz and Candyland all rolled into one and you never know what Kitty's going to name next ... the Kattyhoppers were quite interesting. Anyway I can't wait to read Kitty's next adventure and find out what happens next. 4 1/2 STARS
