    Unveiling some great WW2 secrets

Milton has done an extremely good job in researching this book, gathering evidence from a wide range of materials (even broadcast interviews from decades ago) and going often to unknown primary sources. He details a very interesting, albeit almost unknown, part of the war effort that enabled the UK to win WW2 despite the odds being fully against them in 1939. Of course these events were covered by the maximum secrecy at the time, and this is one of the reasons it was not known to the general public, much like the codebreakers efforts in Bletchley Park. But like the latter, the secret army headed by Colin Gubbins deserves the recognition it fought hard to merit. It's high time that their contribution to the world we live in is known and appreciated.
