    Loved it

I loved this story!! It's light, it's funny, and it's completely entertaining. There is nothing Marcus Rosemann enjoys more than really getting under his father's skin. Since deciding to follow is own path rather than join the family investment firm, his father has been waiting for him to fall on his face and come crawling back. Oh yeah, and marry a nice, respectable Jewish girl and settle down. Not going to happen!! After a hilarious letter mix up, Marcus finds himself meeting Rose Verma. She's wild, carefree, and the perfect woman to send his father straight over the top when he finds out Marcus is dating her. So what if a little blackmail is needed to get her to go for his plan. While Rose might agree, the blackmail and all, she's not above a little bargaining of her own!! Definitely one I recommend!

    Fun and energetic read!

I really enjoyed this book. This is Jenny’s 3rd installment in her 49th floor series and it was fun, sexy and addicting! Advertising exec Marcus Rosemann was every woman’s dream. Successful, rich and absolutely gorgeous he had what everyone wanted. While Marcus is successful in the working world he is considered the black sheep of the family at home. Having made his own way in the world and rebelled against the idea of working beside the one man he can’t tolerate, his father. Marcus’s father has other plans though, he intends to humiliate Marcus every opportunity he can and pressure him to take his rightful place in the family’s investment firm and settle down with a girl of his father’s liking and approval. While Marcus enjoyed occasional women he didn’t do or want a relationship. Rose Verma is the best friend every girl wants to have. She is smart, beautiful, fun, energetic and loveable with a huge heart. Fundraising Manager for EcoHabitat, a non-profit organization, Rose is on top of her game even if she doesn’t dress in the normal conservative way most business woman do. Rose is a one of a kind type of girl. She is a vegetarian, animal lover and supporter or animal rights, and lover of all things brightly colored in her wardrobe. Everything about Rose screams fun and different but she is afraid to let people close. When an incident involving a mail mix up throws Marcus and Rose together, Marcus can’t help but feel his has found the perfect woman to be his fake fiance’ and get his family off his back for good. Marcus makes a deal with Rose, be his fiance’ through Hanukkah and in return he will make an extremely generous donation to one EcoHabitat’s programs and personally revamp their website. The plan seemed simple enough and would benefit both parties in the end, Rose could even continue her Thursday night dating in hopes of finding her Mr. Right. Neither one were prepared for the desire and connection that would feel towards each other. But all’s fair in love and blackmail, and Rose is ready to play a few cards of her own… I would highly recommend this book. It is an energetic and fun read that you won’t be able to put down! I received an eARC copy of the book compliments of the publisher via NetGalley for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

    Brilliant.

Another great book from Jenny Holiday. Her stories have a way of sucking you into the heart of the book, experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions with the characters as though it were real. I like the diversity of Jenny's stories, It's not everyday you get to read an interesting story about a Mindy Kaling lookalike and a brooding Jewish Ad man with Daddy issues. Cultural diversity always makes a book richer and it also added so extra drama in this story.
