    Fascinating

Very enjoyable. Thankfully there wasn't an exam at the end as I would have been unable to remember all tbe details. The numerous analogies were often witty but also very helpful in explaining the point being made. A very interesting read.

So now I know my brain is the idiot, not me!

A thoroughly good read. What could have been a dry subject is made easy to read, nay, enjoyable to read by the authors light and witty writing style, but I suppose being a stand up comedian as well as a neuroscientist may have influenced his style. As well as being entertained and amused I actually learned something, and confirmed that many of my shortcomings were the responsibility of my idiot brain, not me! I can heartily recommend this book if you want to understand why you are, sorry, your brain is an idiot.
