    Good read

I really like Trisha Ashley books, but I found this one different from previous reads. I did enjoy reading it, but I do find it annoying that so many author's paint the heroine's mother to be uncaring, selfish and self absorbed, and this gets a little tiresome as it would be nice to meet a normal loving mother. I also didn't take to Tish wholeheartedly, as I found her too airy fairy, and an instant dislike to her husband, especially as I have known someone exactly like James. Fergal was OK, nothing more to him. But that said I did enjoy the book and the trials and tribulations to Tish's life and her acceptance of who her husband actually is, and that she can actually cope without him. It didn't have the same romance factor as her previous books, but this still reads well and I would still recommend people read it.

A little predictable, but nonetheless an enjoyable read.

    The tangled web.

I enjoyed his book. The characters were believable if a little larger than life. I will look out for more books by this author.

If you like Jilly Cooper and Sophie Kinsella, I highly recommend Trisha Ashley. I tore through this book in 4 days, despite having a full time job and two children. I absolutely loved it. Romance, a bit of a mystery and two lovers, separated by time and circumstance, who are reunited in the seemingly quiet English countryside, make for a delightful read. Put on your pot of tea, grab some chocolate biscuits and be prepared to ignore the phone, the doorbell and just about everything and everyone else!
