    What a waste

You can tell this book was written by a woman with a serious case of misandry. The people who are in charge are women while the men are subordinates. And any men that may be in charge are incompetent buffoons who care more about politics than anything else. The rest are weak ineffective and lost without women to lead them. To say that the main characters were anti-heroes is putting it mildly. None of them have anything admirable to their characters. For the first time in reading any of the Halo series I found myself rooting for the covenant rather than the humans, at least the covenant characters have some admirable traits. All in all I am sorry I bought this book (even as a cheaper ebook) and I would say it degrades the halo franchise.
