    A scientific look at meditation.

    Interesting non-pharmacological way to deal with depression. The authors look at the problems of rumination and personal recrimination that affect many people today. They are "mostly" successful at presenting the ideas in the book scientifically and not philosophically. Their method of dealing with life's challenges requires discipline and a commitment of time, instead of drugs. It's not a quick fix. They encourage the readers to challenge reoccurring negative thoughts that can drag one down. They explain that "thoughts are not facts." It is a very interesting read, even if you don't subscribe to meditation of any form.
