Not as interesting as i hoped

This story was slow for me. I put it down a lot and read others.

    The second ark

I found the writer,s writing to be like described TV, he has a good plot and should have let the characters do the talking.

    Terse narrative

This is a terse narrative of events over a 3000+ year period. Our galaxy conflicts spacially with another. In anticipation, an atk carrying six million humans, most in cryogenic suspension, leaves the galaxy to explore earth-like planets in other galaxies that might host mankind''s survival, if earth does not survive the galactic collision. When the ark returns more than 2000 years later, several planets, earth included, are missing from our solar system. Two new planets, though, are created in approximate earth orbit, and new human communities and governments are created from the people preserved/asleep on the ark. There is little character development.
