  • Hilarious and highly entertaining

She is so funny! I felt like I was listening to a standup routine. I enjoyed listening to this book on my commutes to work, and I would actually laugh out loud at certain parts. Well done, Tina!

  • Bossypants

I really enjoyed this audiobook. It was humorous, informative, and just overall fantastic. I'm a big fan of Tina Fey and she did not disappoint! Also, as a man, the youngest of four boys, and the father of 3 boys, I learned a lot about what it means to be a woman in this world.

  • Just okay

This audiobook was okay. It was fairly entertaining, but for some reason I kept zoning out while listening to it. So, it wasn’t the most captivating. I’m my opinion, Ellen DeGeneres’s Seriously…I’m Kidding and Amy Schumer’s The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo audiobooks were better, even though I was rather disappointed in DeGeneres’s. This book did have me laughing at parts and I enjoyed the humorous way in which Fey told her story. I appreciate the messages about feminism throughout the book and her descriptions of how it is for women (especially moms) in the work force. She even deals with issues in her line of work and at her level. Fey did a good job narrating this book. It was like listening to a long stand-up comedy show all about her life. I think that’s pretty common for this type of book. I prefer it to be a bit more conversational, but oh well.

  • Tina Fey is brilliant!

So quick to throw a compliment about those who helped along the way, and also acknowledging that the way is not over. What I got from this is that the art of saying yes can change a persons life. And that saying yes doesn’t mean things will be easy but that the experiences will be worthwhile.
