    Thanks for your feedback!

    Excruciating and excellent

This collection of essays is excruciating to read. The sharp gaze into the toxicity of our culture and degrees at which we hurt ourselves and each other is difficult to partake in. And, because of that, this collection is important and moving. The audio book is particularly amazing because each essay is narrated by the author. It’s very poignant to hear this same topic addressed by so many different voices. Roxane Gay has put together an amazing collection of voices on topic our culture tries so hard to simplify and erase. This is great!
