    Pretty good

I think the book was a really good book because I didn't think I would get into it but I enjoyed it.

    Mini Review: The Glass Castle

This memoir reads like a fiction. It never bored me. I was engaged with the story and the narrator the whole time. The author did a good job narrating this. It was very clear and easy to understand. I was questioning the sanity of the parents in this book the whole time. And I also wondered about the mental state of the narrator herself, or it could be because she was trying to be objective telling her story. There’s child neglect, physical and sexual abuse here. You can find curse words here and there. All in all I enjoyed listening to this one. It’s definitely something I’d recommend for book club discussions.

    Love and hate

The author truly delivers the conflict of loving the strength your past has instilled in you while hating the fact that you had to endure it. Her love for her parents is very evident though her frustrations with them are just as clear. I wish I was as forgiving as she is. Perhaps I’ll take that as the lesson to learn from Mrs. Walls words
