    The Murder House

The Murder House is a stand-alone, high quality pulp fiction novel by James Patterson & David Ellis. It centers around a mysterious mansion located at No 7 Ocean Drive in The Hamptons. It’s called The Murder House by locals because of the ties it has to a number of dead bodies. It’s pretty fast paced, with lots of twists & turns; I had some figured out but not all of it. It’s got nice short chapters & it clips along nicely. I was hoping the Hamptons’ lifestyle & atmosphere was more of a character; in my opinion this could have have been any mansion on any seaside. Besides that, it’s pretty good! Audio companion is narrated by Therese Plummer, no surprise it’s good. I don’t usually do half stars but it’s more than 3 & less than 4, so 3.5 ⭐️
