  • White fragility

A must read (listen) for everyone. We can all do more and do it better. This book lays out what the problems are, and helps us understand how, as white people, we uphold a system of racism without knowing it. It is genuinely the most important book I’ve read/listened to, and would recommend we all take some time to do it.

  • Division is the goal I guess

Fight racism with racism, new title. Since when is everything about color? This book is part of the problem, not the solution.

  • Great book, so-so narrator.

The book was great, the narrator took some time to get used to but it didn't take away from the content.

  • Content- amazing, narrator- awful

This is essential reading, challenging all of my assumptions and defence mechanisms against the threat of being racist. The author challenges us to put ourselves on a continuum, inescapably shaped by our racist upbringings, socialization, shared history, and human nature, and challenges us to constantly reevaluate where we are on the continuum and what we are actively doing to change ourselves and others. Unfortunately, the narrator is terrible!!! A monotonous robot that really did a disservice to this amazing book.

  • Misleading Synopsis

An interesting read, but it more comes across as an apologia for minority group's inability to solve problems of their own making. It removes agency from minorities by explaining that "if only white people worked harder", minorities would he more successful.
