    Summer of night

This blew me away, took me back to when I was a kid in the 1960s my friends my brothers all riding our bikes, exploring as we did. This was a flash back to those times. I saw my self as one of those boys. I'm in awe of the fast paced writing, I was reading whenever I got the chance. The scene and part of the story how it interacts with the film Fall of the house of usher was brilliant. And I just saw the flick again on TMC.

    Preteen heroism.

My first time reading a Dan Simmons novel. They say the first time leaves you needing more so on to the next one and more. Good book and hard to stop.

    Guter Anfang, schwaches Ende
