    A Must Read

Jordan Peterson is truly an inspiration on many fronts. His language choice and use of verbage captivates and makes this an interesting and informative read. Couldn't put it down. I highly recommend this book!

I used the book to ace a job interview

I was in a job interview the other day, and when asked about previous job stress and a worst job story, I was in just a good frame of mind that I politely recorded that I don't really have any bad job stories. Reading this book put me in a forward thinking direction that prevented me from looking back and triggering my previously debilitating anxiety. Furthermore, I explained that the best strategy I could apply to both my personal and professional life is to stop comparing myself to other people, and just compare myself to who I was yesterday. I accomplish small tasks all day, and in that, I am a personal and professional success. Growth and respect happens. (Chapter 1, 2 and 4 in case you're wondering!) One woman on the interview panel gasped a little. She said, "I've never heard anyone answer that question in that way". She was obviously enlightened to a new way of thinking about success, or a new way of looking at oneself. Sometimes I feel as if this book was written just for me. PS: after the excellent interview I was called back and asked about salary. Buoyed with confidence I added 20% to my expected ask, which was subsequently shot down. I didn't get the job but for the right reasons. I had a great interview. I learned more about myself. And next time will be better. I've never felt so energized after not getting through a job interview process. (Chapter 7, 9 and 10!)

    Poor writing

Poorly written, seems more affirmation for those who seem to not be able to take responsibility for actions, but need to be able to blame others. A way to take $ from people who should just follow basic rules of life, The Secret for uncles.
