    Well worth the read

I was afraid to read this story because I anticipated an emotional rollercoaster. I was not wrong in my assumption but it was worth it. I found the story unpredictable, not seeing twists coming. My heart broke right along with Ava as she went on her journey. This story offered great emotional depth from its characters and I look forward to the next book.

    Wow....just wow

This booked got 4 stars instead of 5 because it broke my heart. But what a read....it's not your typical HEA ending but captivatingly illustrates the beauty and strength of love. My heart hurts but is full at the same time. What a ride.

Review: The Truth About Love 1: 27 Truths

27 Truths: Ava's Story by M.J. Fields is the first book in her Truth About Love duology. This is Ava's story and it is bumpy ride so hang on. I absolutely loathed Luke. I loved loathing him, but he was so rotten towards Ava. I just knew he had to have an ulterior motive but we never got his POV in this book so, as a reader we can only go by Ava's perspective of things. If it wasn't for T showing up and planting himself in her life this story would have been a bust, Luke was irredeemable from Ava's POV. As a reader I knew (hoped) there was another reason he was treating her this way but... So, for the sake of no spoilers, just know you are definitely going to have to read the next book, 27 Lies: Luke's story, in order to have your soul healed from the devastation this first book will cause. Grab the tissues!
