An incredible mystery that also made me laugh!

This book was a wonderful mixture of mystery, romantic interest, and comedic moments. I absolutely love Serena Jones. She is a wonderful FBI agent who also has some hang-ups that she has to deal with. She is surrounded by a whole cast of supporting characters. Some of them are very straight forward but others can only be described as quirky. Among the quirky ones my favorites are Aunt Martha and Harold. They gave me a lot to laugh about. The plot is a current case Serena is trying to solve with mention made of a cold case that weighs heavy on her mind. By the end of this book the current case is dealt with. I have a feeling that the cold case will be continued in future books in this series. There were a lot of well-crafted twists and turns in the story that really kept me guessing. Sandra did a marvelous job of throwing out different possibilities to confuse the reader. It was fun to try and unravel the mystery along with Serena. I received a free copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.

    Serena Jones, another Plum character

Serena Jones, FBI Art Crimes Specialist has completed her first undercover assignment in Boston. Returning home to St. Louis she's still jumpy. Moving into her Aunt Martha's former apt brings Serena into contact with the building super, Nathan Butler. Finding building super, Nate in her apt feeding her inherited cat Harold has her pulling her gun and ramping up her heart rate. That he's mysterious along with good looking doesn't help the heart rate either. BFF Zoe Davids' missing Monet brings FBI training officer Tanner Calhoun back into Serena's days and he's equally hot. A great cast of characters. Twists & turns that include funny parts with Aunt Martha made this a good reading experience.

    I LOVED This Book!

Sandra had me at the title and the book delivered from page 1 through 323. Serena Jones is a fun yet quirky heroine who works for the FBI. The stolen art angle is unique and interesting. Plus Serena has two irresistible men who are completely different vying for her attention. Trust me, most women would love to have either one. Her family is unique. Aunt Martha is a hoot and I can't wait to see what she is up to in book two. Speaking of book two, I can't wait until it releases. It will be an automatic purchase. I've always been a Sandra Orchard fan, but this is my favorite book she has ever written. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
