    Anticipatience

A series that will not let you sit down the book. Can not wait till book 5 comes out to see how Kyra recovers with her dragon. Excellent series and well written. Only grip I have is that each book is too short.

Good read in spite of poor editing

Again a good read – Wish I could give separate ratings for the story & editing. The editing was again very poor with characters referred by incorrect name as well as grammatical errors. Seems to be more of these type of errors as the story continues.

    Good read

Good read but characters are sometimes one dimensional and not complex enough and too many coincidences in the plot

A Forge of Valor - review

Well written book and growing in strength compared to the early books in the series, which had some inconsistencies. Not the kind to spoil the plot mind, but the sort where names were confused and little things like thrown weapons later being returned to the owerns possession for use without explaination. Thankfully the attention to detail has improved and as such I will keep on with the series, althought I do sometimes find the chapters which take you away from the main protagonist in a George R. R. Martin style a little frustrating. I think to many fantasy author's do this now and it does not really add to the story. In some cases you can miss the chapter out and not lose anything in the story, bit like Tolkien's pages and pages of descriptions :-) I don't mind a sub plot or characters, but just don't do them for the sake of filling pages :-D
