    Exciting action

A Ghostly Gift New ghosts make appearances with new mysteries to solve in this continuation of the Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries Series. The author layers the excitement as the plot progresses to encircle the reader in a warm glow of romance and mysterious happenings packed into a novella. The historical content adds greater interest to this story. While it can be a standalone read, more understanding of the characters will be achieved by first reading Southern Charms (1st book in the series). The characters in both the book and novella have really engaged my attention and I am very glad to have this release to tide me over until a second full length book. I loved this novella and would highly recommend it.

A Great Quick Fix for Fans of Angie Fox

With A Ghostly Gift author Angie Fox delivers a sweet little snippet for fans of her recently released Southern Ghost Hunter series. This short story/novella finds Verity Long exercising her newly discovered other worldly communication skills, once again with the assistance of long dead mobster Frankie Valentine, to help out a local shop owner. As always, wonderful characters written into a great story, this time about long lost loves that never truly die. Fox's tales ;) are the perfect mix of mystery, paranormal, and laugh out loud humor, with a hint of realistic romance to offer something for everyone. So take my lead, get out of this nasty weather, bundle up under your afghan with a cup of tea and relax for half an hour with Verity. This is a great quick read to tide you over until the next full-length book comes out.

    A really nice short funny

A fun short story with Verity (graphic design and unexpected ghost whisperer), her little pet skunk, Frank (ghostly gangster of prohibition era), and a cast of many. Verity is dead broke and an outcast in her town for angering the most influential family there. But the owner of the local second-hand shop needs help with a destructive force which has recently been causing havoc. Verity meets more ghosts (with Frank's reluctant help), and embarks on solving the mystery.

    It's absolutely sweet little story!

A Ghostly Gift is an absolutely sweet little story! Verity swore to her and her maybe boyfriend Ellis that she would never go ghost hunting again, that helping him was the last time. But when she's offered some free kitchen supplies, her pick of the lot from the antique shop in town, she can't help to say yes to her sister's friend that owns the antique shop. Especially since she had to sale everything she owned in the estate sale and is still broke. Also, if the ghost in the store keeps breaking her most valuable antiques their friend could be looking at loosing her business and Verity knows all too well how that feels. Though I felt it was a little cheesy when the woman they had to find just showed up at the right time, it was the right kind of cheesy. Not going to lie, the whole ending had me tearing up! And if my husband wasn't home I would have been balling my eyes out! That's what military stories do to me, they're absolutely heartbreaking! And the ending, oh my gosh! I loved it! I was all warm and fuzzy on the inside! If you loved Southern Spirits then this will quench your craving for the sequel! Angie Fox is so hilarious! When Verity met this 70's ghost I believe in the shop, oh my gosh, I was laughing out loud! That ghost was hitting on her and here's my favorite pick up line he said to her, "Your name must be Lucky Charms because you're magically delicious" I cracked up so hard my husband turned around, giving me a look that I was crazy until I told him why I was laughing so hard haha. If you haven't already checked out this series, then it is a must if you love ghost mysteries! Another great tale to the series and I'm dying for the sequel! A must buy when it comes out!

    Love, Love, Love, Angie Fox!

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. This book may be listed on some sites as 0.5, but it is actually 1.5, so I highly recommend reading Southern Spirits first, otherwise this will be kind of a spoiler. This was a short-cute story to pass the time between the first book Southern Spirits and The Skeleton in the Closet (Book #2) - coming fall 2015, not soon enough IMHO. As with the first book in this series I highly recommend it and can't wait for the next!
