  • Interesting story

An incredible tale about a strong young woman living among racist, privileged people. The story is based during the time Britain ruled and occupied India - and how they treated the natives. This does not offer any spoilers but there is definitely a tiger involved. I was able to feel the frustration of those Indians that is discussed in this story and since I have also have read a previous book by this author Zoey Gong, with a similar tale in China (and a Panda). I am getting the impression from this author that she is very good at weaving some fantasy in with some ugly history of humans and how we humans treat each other. I can identify with her speaking up during an injustice to people and to animals. I've been fired at least once for speaking up for children with disabilities. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Thanks for your feedback!
